I havent got F1 Challenge but I was wondering if anyone will be uploading the races on Youtube because this looks interesting. If so, what's the name of your youtube profile so I can subscribe.

As we are nearing the start of the season I thought I would put up an extended "Rules" section.
Reckless and Unsporting Driving
When drivers are involved in a battle. The defending driver can make ONE blocking move. If the defending driver weaves across the track then they will have a time penalty of 25 seconds added to their overall race time. The time penalty is 25 seconds because there is no stewarding during a race (unless someone who does not want to race joins up to become a steward), so 25 seconds is the average amount of time for a driver to come in, stop for 10 seconds and leave the pits again.
If a driver causes a collision then they must wait for the other driver to recover before getting on their way again. This will ensure that the driver who caused the collsion does not gain advantage from it. If someone does not obey to this rule then the innocent driver can complain on this forum and also submit a replay. The stewards (Myself, and others (later to be elected) will then look at the replay and pass judgment. If the find the offending driver guilty, the offending driver will be given a 30 second time penalty added to their race time.
Entering and Exiting the Pit Lane
When entering and exiting the pit lane, the speed limit applies. However, drivers are allowed to cross the white lines and the entrance and exit of the pit lane. This is the same as in the real 1994 season, so let's keep it realistic .
Car Livery and Helmet Designs
Changes to the livery are not allowed. We are running the 1994 season, not a fictional league. Let's keep it real.
However, as we aren't being the real drivers, personal helmet designs are allowed. They must be uploaded here so that everyone can download them.
Speed Bug
In online races there are rare cases of a speed bug, which means that the car that has the bug is immediately up to 10 or more seconds quicker than it's opponents. This is, of course, unfair so to check that no one gets the speed bug all drivers must do at least one flying lap in the first practice session before we can move on to the next sessions.
Corner Cutting
Corner cutting is strictly not allowed if the driver cutting the corner is deemed to gain an advantage. In a battle if a driver misses his braking point and cuts the corner when out braking an opponent, they must give back the place they have just gained. If these rules are not obeyed a time penalty of 30 seconds will be added to the offending drivers race time.
